Update on yesterdays incident:
Yesterday between 20.13 and 20.57 we experienced an unusual amount of requests.
Even unusual for the ongoing and upcoming Black Friday sales.
We have reason to suspect, that some of this traffic was targeted towards the Shopify apps.
In preparations for the coming week, we have scaled everything up to run on overcapacity for the remainder of the year.
We are also making an update to the systems, which will also prevent unusual traffic.
This requires us to make an update tonight at 03.00 GMT+1:00.
This will cause downtime for a few minutes.
