Payments Problems with MobilePay via QuickPay

QuickPay is currently experiencing problems with MobilePay. This will affect all merchants using pensopay via QuickPay. Currently MobilePay transactions are being refused. They are working on it.

All V2 merchants are not affected by this. Most pensopay merchants on Shopify are V2.

If you see some pending MobilePay transactions, we recommend to deactivate MobilePay for the time being.

QuickPay has implemented a fix and are monitoring the results.

We are seeing improvement on MobilePay payments being processed correctly since around 23.00.

MitID is currently experiencing minor disruptions in their service.

Payments Issues with transactions

Some transactions on Shopify are currently being refused.

We are looking into it and will update.

Update on yesterdays incident:

Yesterday between 20.13 and 20.57 we experienced an unusual amount of requests. Even unusual for the ongoing and upcoming Black Friday sales.

We have reason to suspect, that some of this traffic was targeted towards the Shopify apps.

In preparations for the coming week, we have scaled everything up to run on overcapacity for the remainder of the year.

We are also making an update to the systems, which will also prevent unusual traffic. This requires us to make an update tonight at 03.00 GMT+1:00.

This will cause downtime for a few minutes.

Transactions are being approved again.

We will monitor the fix.
